Just Had a Baby? ✨Here’s Your Must-Do List!✨

Wow there’s a lot to do once baby is born! But with a little planning ahead of time, it shouldn’t be too terrible.

When I finished giving birth to my twins, I was absolutely starving! Then I wanted to see and hang with my babies of course! And finally call the fam!

But the first 5-6 hours or so after birth I had SOO much energy and adrenaline! This is the perfect time (if you can slip away for a few moments) to make a few phone calls and sign some paperwork. After a few hours, you’ll be sleeping for sure!

I believe the most important tasks to get to right away are:

- skin to skin contact

- breastfeed as soon as possible

- call family

- take photos

- rest

The rest can wait for a few hours or the next day!
