Womanhood is Hard

Being born a woman is a burden in itself when you really think about everything we have to endure in our life! We are conditioned early to believe that we have to be this strong and loving and caring and nurturing and unproblematic person in the eyes of many. We are expected to take the responsibility of our family and not complain or gripe about it. They expect a lot from a woman and it is a heavy crown we are taught to just carry with a smile to hide the pain of giving every thing with hardly anything in return! You would not believe just how much we go through! They love our beauty and witt’s until they feel like you are shining brighter than them and we even get it from our own gender as if we are in some sort of competition and it requires another woman to lose just to feel like we have won in a sad way! Woman to woman this is a #safespace

And I am not here to judge you nor compete against you! I am my sister’s keeper and I just wanted that to be clearly stated with this post!
