WHY I LOVE MY BIG FOREHEAD

since literally forever, I have been ridiculed for the size of my forehead.🙄

I had a five head honestly, the jokes go on and on about how big my forehead was from my family to my peers to my friends. There was no one I was safe from.😕

These harsh critiques created an insecurity that manifested as a fear of showing my forehead.

I never wanted to show my forehead, whether or not my hair was in a ponytail, I would use headbands or bandannas.

Or I would always try and cover it with my hair.

I battled with this until I was 17, which was only 3.5 years ago.😞

Even though I have found confidence in my forehead, I still find myself less apt to wear a forehead-revealing hairstyle.

ESPECIALLY something like straight backs💀, which I always thought were so cute but I never thought I could pull off.

But when I started wearing my forehead out, people started complementing me and seeing me in a different way than they did when my hair was down.

AND NO!! I wasn’t instilling myself with confidence based on other peoples opinions!❣️

but I was letting their opinions undo the harsh words from the kids in my childhood.🤓

because I NEVER felt that way about myself until THEY SAID I SHOULD.🤬

PLUS I always remember my big forehead queens like Rihanna, Christina Ricci, Angelina Jolie, Tyra Banks and SO MANY MORE.🥹
