Don’t fall for scams like this!

All the circles in my post are red flags that you should look for when it comes to landing brand partnerships.

🚩 My name was not included in the introduction. This means that a bot probably got my email from an affiliate platform that I’m on and sent me a random email. If a brand was truly interested in partnering with you, they’d at least put your name somewhere in the email.

🚩🚩Too many misspelled words or they’ve put the wrong spelling of the app name several times throughout the email.

🚩🚩🚩 Asking for my PayPal account is just down right schemish. There is generally a way to put in your payment information through some secure portal. You would think that this “brand” would invest into something of the sort being that their Instagram has over 550,000 followers 😵‍💫

I know it’s exciting to want to get paid for producing content however you must proceed with caution when it comes to things like this. Many people get scammed daily because of phishing emails. Always do your research!
