👩🏻 Home Recipe 🍳 biscuits and gravy

Occasion & Servings: any

Ingredients & Portions:

-roll of breakfast sausage

-biscuits

-flour

-bacon grease (can sub butter)

-pepper

-whole milk

Detailed Steps:

-cook biscuits according to package

-brown breakfast sausage and take half the grease out with a paper towel

-add 3 tbsp of bacon grease (or butter) melt that down

- add 3 tbsp of flour to form a roux

- whisk together till bubbly

- pour in 2 cups of whole milk

-stir continuously

-let come to a boil and bubble then simmer

-remember to stir

-add a ton of pepper

-pour over biscuits or eat with whatever ya want

Additional tips/notes:

Sub bacon grease with butter

(I like the flavor of the bacon grease better)

I also spray butter into my biscuits before I cook them
