Italian Cultural Norms

While every region in Italy has its own norms, generally, Italians tend to share lots of similar traits and behaviors across the board.

Some regions are super friendly and inviting, and others maybe not so much. I definitely can’t make this post without mentioning that Italy, like any other country is not perfect. It saddens me to hear that many have had negative experiences in Italy on the basis of their ethnicity or race.

Having grown up in Rome, Italy will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope that you are not deterred from visiting and enjoying the rich and beautiful culture that it has to provide.
