Simple Enrichment Game

A simple and easy enrichment activity I like to do with Capri is hiding her kibble in her toy box. Using her nose to search for her food realllyyy works her brain, providing plenty of mental stimulation. Oftentimes, I like to make it a little more challenging by making sue the kibble is not easily visible.

This game keeps her occupied for about 15-20 minutes and she’s pooped after. Searching for food is supposedly a natural instinct for dogs and doing so helps them release feel-good chemicals (ie. endorphins, adrenaline, and cortisol) as well as help them decompress and tap into their natural biology.
