Rating When We Were Young Festival:

Crowd: 7/10 super packed but everyone was moving and flowing so we could go from front stage to very back easily

Food: 2/10 umm 18$ for a beer and 22$ for some fries? No way.

Lockers: 12/10 saved us from having to carry around extra shoes and layers!! Worth the 40$.

Sound/Stage: 3 screens saved me from being too short to see over the super tall people, the sound was so loud we could hear bands playing from outside the festival!!

People: 7/10 this would be higher but the people who would SIT MID FRONT CHROWD (don’t ever do this people,) brought it down. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. The atmosphere was incredibly safe and judgment free.

Overall:

10/10 Would recommend to anyone who likes this music, is an elder emo, or who grew up as an emo and wants some nostalgia in their life! BUT come as prepared as you possibly can be. A 12hr mosh pit driven, screaming having emo festival in the dessert is fucking harsh. 🖤
