I WAITED FOR THIS JOB FOR 1 YEAR….

i’ve been a frequent visitor of The Cat Cafe (bugis and rail mall) and i’ve been dreaming of working there since FOREVER. so of course i went on their website and applied for a job there! and i waited for a reply… but there was none. but here i am 1 year later, proud to call myself a cat cafe staff! so here’s how i did it and some tips for you if u wanna work here too :)

how i did it (after i received no reply):

1. followed their instagram account @sgcatcafe

2. turned on story notifications

3. checked EVERY single time when they posted a story

4. finally caught them when they were hiring one year later!

5. applied again with a detailed and sincere email of my past job experiences, strengths, why i wanted to work there and why i would be a valuable asset

6. got called down for an interview and got the job!

some tips:

i definitely recommend following their instagram account and turning on notifications like i did! this is because they usually post there when they’re hiring and will be actively looking out for job applications

be sincere when applying and write out a thoughtful email (with cv and resume will be a plus!). because based on my observations you’ll have a significantly lower chance if you just type out a few lines or a single paragraph

the cat cafe hires at really random times so be on the lookout always! if you’re lucky you’ll catch them when they’re hiring and get a higher chance.
