what we booked:

klook tickets for round trip to all three islands, including $3 gong cha voucher

price $14

get them here

islands included: st johns island + lazarus island > kusu island > marina south pier

grab the ferry schedule and island map before you board the boat to make sure you don’t miss any timeslots!

overall experience:

sadly it was raining when we went but the islands were empty and super clean compared to sentosa! the only bad thing is that they’re no toilets to be seen on st john’s island and lazarus island but kusu island had toilets that were pretty clean for outdoor island beach standards

st. john’s island:

nothing much to do there, just a lot of trees and green fields. pretty small and the beachy parts are narrow and mostly covered in rocks. there was a cool mangrove forest there though!

lazarus island:

cross a bridge from st. john’s island to reach lazarus island. we were impressed to see clear waters and white sand, there were even hermit crabs and seashells along the shore! lazarus island is pretty big so take your time exploring it. deeper in, there will be a huge c shaped beach where you can picnic while dipping your feet in the clear water! collecting seashells there is super fun too.

kusu island:

walk back to st. john’s island and board the ferry to reach kusu island. its more inhabited there with shrine looking buildings and toilets!! (finally) there was even a wishing well and a turtle sanctuary FILLED with turtles so that was fun. you might also spot monkeys so be careful! 🙈 like st. john’s island, kusu island doesn’t have much beach to it. its mostly lagoons, rocks, many mini huts for shelter and some grass patches to relax! (with a lot of sand flies though)

ferry experience:

the ferry was similar to the layout of a modern airplane and was even air conditioned! toilets were pretty clean too. on the ferry to kusu island and back to marina south pier, we were able to go upstairs which was really cooling and great for ig pictures 😝😝
