My Takes On TheSchool Shooting ISSUE

1) Schools are dehumanizing the people who are shooting the schools to protect their image.

• If an investigation were to take place and 30 teens who shot up their school were asked why they wanted to 20 of them would likely say their targets were bullies that the school wouldn’t handle.

•The school system doesn’t want to admit that they hold partial fault in all of this. If some sort of system for bullying was set up where actual lesson teaching punishments were taken against bullying instead of just claiming the school is anti bullying then maybe the shooting rate would go down.

•im in no way saying the shooters don’t deserve their punishment or they aren’t bad for doing what they did but as a whole life victim of bullying and school systems doing the bare minimum when i needed them most i can understand why its happening.

2) because of the school shooting increasing the procedures should be re-evaluated.

•EVERYONE knows the procedure for lockdown so hiding in the corner isn’t going to cut it anymore. Every classroom being completely empty isn’t probable and if they have a gun they can easily shoot the handle and get in.

•Instead i think there needs to be a Re-Evaluation of lockdown protocol and get students out of the building instead of hiding in the class.

•instead of investing in the football teams and sports they should invest in some sort of protection against the shooter so if you need to get out you at least have a way to protect yourself against the shooters.
