A trip to the Apostle Islands🌊

Under a four hour drive from Minneapolis, the Apostle Islands are truly a hidden Midwest gem! My family took a weeklong trip and it was the best time with so much to do!

We stayed in Bayfield, which is a cute little town right on Lake Superior with the cutest shops and restaurants. I highly recommend checking out some of the hiking trails that overlook the Lake in surrounding towns/parks. Kayaking is another must try when visiting the Apostle Islands, especially to the sea caves! Another thing to do is the boat tour to see all of the islands and learn more about the history. And if you just want to relax with a view and listen to the waves of Lake Superior, there are also plenty of beach options too!
