Wartek is an Indonesian restaurant located in Ara Damansara, specializing in authentic Indonesian cuisine.

The restaurant’s decor features a minimalist Muji style, with a warm, wood-toned color scheme that creates a cozy and comfortable dining atmosphere.

There are plenty of dishes to choose from, and everything looks mouthwatering. 😋

We tried the Nasi Galung and Nasi Kapau—the sambal has a moderate level of spiciness, so even those who can't handle spicy food can give it a try. I particularly enjoyed the rice here; it's fragrant, perfectly cooked, and has the distinct texture I like. 😍

The Daging Rendang is also a must-try, with its rich aroma and tender beef that isn’t too salty. As for desserts, we had the bubur sum sum. Though it looks plain, it tastes amazing. The coconut flavor is rich, and the gula jawa (palm sugar) adds a sweet but not overwhelming touch.

On weekends, the restaurant tends to get crowded, but the staff remain friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable, offering great value for money. There’s also busker performances that add to the ambiance, though I’m not sure if they’re only on weekends. ❤️

If you’re a fan of Indonesian food, Wartek is definitely worth a visit!
