🍜 What we ordered:

1. Japanese Dashi Noodles (Dashi), 2 Chashu + 2 Ducks

2. Japanese Dashi Noodles (Shio), 2 Chashu + 2 Ducks

Ok, will do a summary review because it’s essentially the same noodle bowl but different soup base.

Dashi soup base - Made from flying fish?? is a lot more light but flavourful. You really don’t have to add on any spices to the soup. It’s really good on its own. Noodle texture is great too, soft and chewy, just leaves you wanting more. The duck meat is Smokey and distinctive from the Chashu meat, every bite is flavourful.

Shio soup base - Made from tuna which is a lot more fishy taste, that is really dependent on personal preference.

🛋Ambience & thoughts:

It’s a small cosy spot like those typical Japanese ramen place with just a few seating in the area. It’s not intended for you to sit for a long time to catchup with your friends. But really just to enjoy the food and go somewhere else to continue your catchup.

The food is D E L I C I O U S, they don’t have a lot of dishes on the menu, which shows that their 4-5 main dishes are good enough for it to be the signature dish.

Highly recommend this spot if you love hidden gems and esp ramen. Food spots in random malls are always a good find 👍 it’s on a first come first serve basis so I’ll say avoid lunch time because it’ll get REAL crowded. We narrowly missed the dinner crowd when we were there around 730pm.

I’d definitely come back for more!
