Tracking your habits is an important step when you want to make lasting change in your life. So I wanted to share the easiest way to do it, and how I track mine!
I started tracking my habits when I used to bullet journal to organize and plan my to-do lists. However, I stopped bullet journaling awhile ago now, because I didn't have time to draw weekly and monthly spreads, and I found this undated planner by Scribble and Dot, which has a calendar monthly view, weekly pages for to-do lists and pre-made habit trackers!
So you can easily find a planner with a habit tracker already included, or draw your own. If you don't want to have it in your physical planner, you can use Notion and set up a digital habit tracker, that you can tick off every day.
Then pick 3-4 habits that you would like to focus on and give yourself a month, 30 or 31 days, to do it. Once you do the habit, you can tick it off in your tracker. Having a visual representation of what you do daily and how often you perform a habit that you want to adopt, can be helpful and tech you what you need to focus on.
All of the habits that I track are related to my wellness, as I'm a workaholic, and it's important for me to take productive breaks that allow me to take care of myself. Tracking it also makes sure that I'm aware of how often I workout and meditate, reminds me to take my daily vitamins, as well as do something for fun, which is reading a good book and journaling.
You can set yours to suit your needs and habits, maybe you want to include drinking water, making your bed, doing your morning routine, etc.
