To continue my journaling post series, I wanted to share about weekly intentions, how to set them and follow up effectively. This post was inspired by one of you reaching out to me to share more on this topic for my journaling club, which I host every week on my Instagram account 💌

Intentions are like mini-goals for the week. They help you focus on what you want to achieve and stay on track with your plans. Setting intentions is about deciding what you want to accomplish in the upcoming week.

So how do you set specific intentions for the week?🤔

〰️ Choose your focus: decide which areas of your life are important this week (work, school, homework, health, relationships, etc.)

〰️ Be specific: Instead of saying “I will workout more”, frame it into “I will go to the gym 3 times this week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday”.

〰️ Write them down to make it official

〰️ Focus: set 2-3 intentions only, so that you don’t overwhelm yourself

〰️ Make them achievable: what you can realistically complete within a week

Slide's 5 and 6 share some ideas of what kind of intentions you can set weekly, for example if you want to focus on personal growth, your health, work or school, relationships or creativity ✨
