I haven’t been to Japan for a while and was really missing Royce’ name chocolate. Today I am going to make matcha nama chocolate in a Japanese style, its perfect for valentine’s day.💚 Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
whipping cream- 90g
white chocolate- 250g
Unsalted butter- 20g
Uji matcha powder- 2 tea spoon
Uji matcha powder- appropriate amount
Instructions:
1. Bring whipping cream to almost boil, add white chocolate and whisk gently in one direction
2. Add butter and 2 tea spoon matcha powder mix it all up
3. Place plastic wrap to fit your mold, transfer mixture to prepared mold. There will be air bubbles on the surface you can break it with a toothpick. Let it set in the fridge for overnight
4. Peel off the plastic wrap and cut into desired size. Coat with matcha powder to cover the surface
The aroma and bitterness of matcha green tea goes so well with white chocolate. The smooth and velvety chocolate melt in your mouth with a milky flavor with the aroma of the matcha.💚💚
