It was a challenging journey, and at times, I felt a bit embarrassed about my weight, which was 220 pounds exactly. Unsure of where to begin, I turned to YouTube for guidance and gradually started to change my habits. I prioritized drinking more water and substituted soda with sparkling water. Additionally, I immersed myself in books and podcasts dedicated to health and fitness, determined to shed the extra weight.
Taking further steps, I removed sugar from my diet and replaced it with monk fruit. My journey began with counting calories and implementing a rule of no eating after 7 PM. I also allowed myself a cheat day once a week, during which I indulged in omega-rich foods. Starting with 30 minutes of daily cardio, I gradually incorporated weight training into my routine, eventually increasing my workout duration to an hour each day.
It took me 12 months of hard work, with some challenging days where I craved an entire pizza, but I managed to resist the temptation. On my non- workout days , I also made sure to engage in physical activities, such as walking in the park or meditation.Through dedication and perseverance, I've made significant progress, and I believe that if I can do it, anyone can.
