I bet everyone knows the stereotype of French people being rude, racist and stuck up and the city of paris being know for thefts and scams 🫠 don’t be fooled, France is a lovely country and of the the French are too 🤭

Well if you keep these tips in mind, you’ll find your trip in France more enjoyable than you expect it to be!

✔️always carry your bag in front of you!

Super important to prevent pickpockets, for girls I’d suggest to bring a crossbody bag that has a zip closure - it wayyyyy more practical!

If you’re travelling in colder weather, find a jacket with inner pockets or sew one yourself to keep important items like phone or credit cards safe ✌🏼

❌ never leave your phones or wallet on the tables they can be stolen in a split second

✔️ learn basic French greetings and always say bonjour when entering a shop or before speaking to someone! If you don’t, they’ll take you as rude and hence you get the stereotypical rude French treatment 🙈 Bonjour and merci goes a long way!

❌ never order ice coffee in France! They love their coffee strong and hot even in 35 degree weather during the summer 😬

you’ll definitely get a judgmental stare if you ask for one 🙈

You can only find them in Starbucks or other American chains 😅

✔️ try French food! France is a country of gastronomy - you’ll find very good restaurants easily! The good restaurants always find the fresh and best produce to make their food which is one of the reasons it’s so yummy! If you don’t know what to try, these are some recommendations:
