3 tips that I use as a stylist that specializes in lived in color & loves brunette hair 🤎🤎🤎

1. Don’t be afraid of warmth- Brunettes are inherently warmer so let’s not fight it! Adding warmth into your brunette formulas will insure that they grow out beautifully, stay rich & vibrant, & reflect the light perfectly

2. Use extensions for optimal brightness- I love this option for grey coverage clients that really like a high contrast blonde. It’s very unlikely that you would get bright blonde hair after using permanent color for an extended period & healthy hair is the most important. If we can use extensions for color placement (& they can have extra volume & length) it’s a win win!

3. Less is more- don’t overcomplicate it! Start with where the sun would naturally lighten the hair and go from there. If you tend to over-foil, try only setting out 10-20 foils at a time.
