Bishop’s Castle, Colorado

✨One of the must see places to visit in Colorado!

It is the LARGEST project made by one man and is still being built to this day. It was a little scary because it’s all at your own risk and follows no health and safety codes, but no one has been hurt since it was started in 1969. Jim Bishop made this castle using rocks from the national forrest and his tow truck! Now his son has taken over constructing the massive castle! I was too scared to go all the way to the top (160 foot tower), but my boyfriend did and he said it was beautiful. You can see the Rocky Mountains surrounding it for miles. I would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Colorado or if you’re already a local!
