Here is how to turn your long sleeve tops into cute short sleeve shirts!

1. Find a long sleeve top with a stretchy neckline.

2. Slip the shirt on without using the sleeves, like a tube top.

3. Wrap one sleeve under your arm, and then around the back of your arm.

4. You should now have the sleeve wrapped around your arm, and should see the cap-sleeve shape.

5. Tie the wrist-end of the sleeve to the wrapped-end of the sleeve.

6. Tuck the tail end (extra fabric) into your shirt.

7. Repeat on the other slide, and voila! A transformed shirt!

You can also use safety pins to secure the tie under your arm. I found it best to stretch the sleeve as far as possible and create a tight cap sleeve; it slips around less. You can also play around with the shape of the cap sleeve, making it thicker or thinner.
