chicken marsala

made chicken marsala today with recipe from once upon a chef 👩🏻‍🍳

recipe:

1. dredged chicken breast with seasoned flour and cooked until browned and removed from pan

2. melted butter in the same pan and cooked mushrooms, shallots, and garlic until brown

3. added thyme, 2/3 cup of chicken broth, heavy cream, and marsala wine

4. heated until boil and then reduce for around 10 minutes

5. add chicken back in and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens

6. serve with pasta or mashed potatoes
