Book Review—These Infinite Threads

This is the second book in the This Woven Kingdom series by Tahereh Mafi, one of my all time favorite authors! Her writing style is beautiful and on another level with the prose and worldbuilding. If you liked Tahereh’s Shatter Me books, I think you will definitely enjoy this series! It’s very much a “romantasy.” Not spicy, but the love story is very much present!

I would give this book 5/5 stars and thought it was even better than This Woven Kingdom. I really enjoyed the new characters in this and also seeing how some minor characters from the previous book came back into the story. I was very intrigued by the antagonist, as there’s a lot about him that we still don’t know and it seems that he’s not actually “evil.” Like the first book, this one also ended on a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to read book three!!
