How I Became a Business Owner👩🏼‍💻 at Age 25!

I remember taking a business class in college, and was baffled at how many people raised their hands, and said that they wanted to be a business owner. I always pictured myself climbing the corporate ladder, and becoming a high-powered executive more so than a business owner.👩🏼‍💼

When I thought of those two words, I always pictured a Mom and Pop shop for some reason, lol. It wasn’t until I had my first two jobs out of college when I realized that I had an entrepreneurial mindset, and I wanted to get out of the grind of corporate America.🗂️

So, I decided to quit my job and become a freelancer. I managed a few social media accounts for businesses, but found that I loved writing their content. I was always a good writer, and have been journaling since I can’t remember, so it felt like a natural fit. 💫

Thus, M Messaging was born. I became a researching queen. I figured out how to create an LLC, build out a website, reach out to my network, take courses, create a portfolio, and start outreaching to clients. Now I own a small copywriting and marketing agency for small businesses and female founded brands.🤍🫶🏼
