I will not buy from Fever again 😖 Monet Inside🎨

hi everyone, i would like to share a really shitty experience i've just had with fever's ticketing platform.

» i saw this monet event on an ig ad and was initally very excited to attend this! i signed up for the presale, and bought 2 adult tickets + 1 concession ticket for $69.70 + $3 booking fee.

saw on the page that "this experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance", so it felt like the ticket booking was flexible, although "no refunds are permitted under any circumstances".

» a few weeks later, my sister wanted to change the date of our tickets, so i saw in the ticket email that i'll have to download the fever app to change the date of our tickets.

i downloaded the app, and i wanted to check for the availability of other dates to change our ticket to, so i pressed this button "exchange voucher" at the bottom of my ticket, not knowing that my original tickets will IMMEDIATELY get cancelled. was so shocked that happened, without any confirmation button??? 🫠

» so since that happened, i went to cart out the same number of tickets for another day, and realised i'll have to top up another $15.30, including $3 in booking fees.

this is because the "Exchange Voucher" that i got from my previous booking has $69.70 in value, excluding the $3 in booking fees. so they're charging the booking fees again, with the normal pricing as i got my tickets during the presale.

⁉️ i genuinely want to know: what on earth do they collect booking fees for, when all tickets are online and in-app?

» i emailed their customer service asking if it would be possible to not charge the top up as i bought my tickets during the presale, and their website states that date changes are allowed.

» their response in slide 5 - the information wasn't clear at all in the app.

💭 so my opinion is there needs to be a confirmation page for the "Exchange Voucher", and during the presale tickets they need to specify that if date changes are to be made, topups will be required.

i now severely regret buying tickets for this event and even if i still go i'm not sure if i'll enjoy it after this horrible experience.
