Hurricane Helene : here is what we’ve been up to:

We’ve been without power since Friday when Helene impacted our area. We had several trees down. We have been able to manage with our generator running for small periods of time; mainly to power our refrigerator. Most gas stations in our area are without gasoline, and most groceries stores are either empty or running low. We have been using our grill to cook outside, and honestly chopping up wood to cook as well. I feel blessed that my family is safe and well, I tell my daughter to make believe that we are camping to make it easier for her on what’s going on. We are managing well with the resources we have and we are truly grateful to be ok.

I know a lot of towns had it worse and most are underwater, the roads are gone, and what hurts to hear the most is that there are people unable to find their loved ones 💔 my heart truly hurts for them. I’m praying for y’all and in the name of Jesus I pray you are reunited with your loved ones🫶🏼
