Although I could, and sometimes do, eat Joe's Pizza Broadway for 3 meals a day, there are other pizza places in NYC that deserve the same hype. Here are a few of my favorite- including some hidden gems- must tries on your next visit to the city.

Sauce is located both on the Lower East Side and inside Moynihan Train Hall. Their thin crust is iconic, and do not skip the vodka slice. Slices range between $5-6.

You might recognize the famous tie-dye pie from Rubirosa, but each of their pizzas is perfection. The dough is perfectly thin and chewy, the sauce is perfectly spiced, and the cheese is perfectly melty. Nestled in between Soho, Little Italy, and Bowery, there is truly something for everyone here. Their large pizzas are around $30 each.

Patsy's Pizzeria is one of my favorite underrated gems of the city. Not only do they have amazing vodka and plain pies, they are located right by Barclays Center and a Dave and Buster’s- making it potentially the best spot for your next date night. Their pizzas range from $20-$30, and their menu also features homemade pastas, sangria, and desserts. If you’re on a budget, their <$20 lunch specials from 11:30am to 2pm are for you!

Adrienne's Pizzabar is not your typical NYC style pizza, but is amazing regardless. Their crust is out of this world. Their large pizzas range from $28-40 but you are sure to have leftovers. My favorite is the Calabrese pizza, add red sauce. Located on Stone Street in the Financial District downtown, this is the perfect place to get your carbs in before a night out.

Lastly- as a bonus- is the Chicken Parm “Pizza” from Quality Italian. This is a whole chicken parm, spread out and cut to look like a pizza. The quality is immaculate, and do not skip the hot honey option. While Quality Italian, located by Central Park, is a pricier option than most, bookmark it for your next special occasion!
