My favorite city in the south isn't Nashville, or Charleston, or Savannah...it's Chattanooga! This little city halfway between Atlanta and Nashville has EVERYTHING. It's super cute and walkable and has both mountain and water activities, plus amazing dining and nightlife. The aquarium is one of the best I've visited , as is the weekly farmers market.
