AFFORDABLE PARADISE IN COLOMBIA 🌺

Normally, booking a hotel with amazing mountain views and a killer infinity pools comes at a high cost. Masaya Casas Viejas near Minca, Colombia is a hidden gem that anyone on a budget can experience. Shared rooms start at $11 per night, and I found the biggest shared room onsite to be super comfortable and quiet. That price includes a huge, delicious breakfast and great coffee from the coffee finca down the hill, and the heated pool is the best place to hang out during the day and especially at sunset.

Since the hostel is so remote (a 30 minute drive into the mountains from Minca - book a ride with the front desk) they offer activities onsite so you don't have to travel. Waterfall hikes, nature walks, massages and yoga are all available daily and can be booked at reception. Dinners are family style and happy hour with 2 for 1 drinks takes place every evening. You'll never want to leave!
