San Diego Coffee Shop Review - Perk Social ☕️✨

Hi y’all,

I’m here with another San Diego coffee shop review let’s get into it!

Pros:

Cute aesthetic decor - lots of pinks and greens, cute chairs and tables! Lots of photo spots!

Under $6 lattes - I’m happy with any drink under $6 lately, so yay

Parking - this is a pro/con, this is located in what seems like a mix of business and apartments, you’ll find parking but you might have to walk a little and the parking signs are kind of confusing.

Not crowded (yet) - this place seems new, so that might be why it wasn’t crowded. But we went around 11:30 am on a weekday and there were only 4 customers and with lots of seating we had most of the inside to ourselves! I can anticipate over time this will change but it was a nice luxury!

Cons:

THERES NO AC! - now this might have just been on the day we went, but it was a 90 degree day, and one of there walks is basically a giant glass door that they can tuck away so there’s a lot of indoor/outdoor area and the AC was definitely not on. As a sweaty gal myself I marked off for that because I can not enjoy any drink, no matter how good while baking in the heat.

Lighting - The place has such a cute aesthetic but the lighting, at least at that time of day was horrendous at least on camera. If you’re not a content girly, this isn’t something that you’ll have to worry about but if you are be warned!

The coffee - it was just okay, nothing spectacular. I love lavender vanilla lattes and a place by my house has probably the best ones I’ve ever tasted. So when I saw they had the flavors I wanted to try there’s. I know I’m biased, but my friend didn’t care for her coffee either it was just subpar. I tasted her honey brown sugar iced latte and the flavor weren’t popping out at me, which kind of sucked.
