Traveling solo safety tips for women!

Hello all you BRAVE and ADVENTUROUS travel girlies out there!! Let me remind you something, we may be women and traveling solo can be scary sometimes but that doesnt meant that we shouldn’t be able to travel the world on our own and we shouldn’t let that fear stop us! Soooo, to hopefully ease your mind and make you feel more comfortable in your solo travel journey, here are some key tips that helped me be and feel safe on my travels alone!

📍Share your location with those who you trust!

Not only sharing your location but also updating people on your whereabouts and general plans in case anything were to happen!

📲BUY A LOCAL/REGIONAL ESIM

Felt like making that statement in all caps because it will not only make traveling so easyyy and less stressful, but it can be a real lifesaver when you are in a place with less connection. Buying an eSIM (I only get unlimited data eSIMs) allow you to connect to internet, message, and call people from places you normally wouldn’t with your home countries line. This has helped me when I needed Google maps, when I needed to call for reservations, and when I felt anxious and needed to call someone!

If by any chance your eSIM isnt supporting you or you loose signal, having a downloaded version of your destinations map can prepare you for anything!
