The worst way to start off a trip is getting off a plane feeling exaughsted, puffy, and dry which is a common feeling amongst travelers. But as a seasoned traveler, here are some habits I implement during my plane travels to make me feel energized and ready to explore right when I get off the plane! Let’s get into it..
DIET🥗
-Bring your own food/snacks because plane food is packaged, very processed, and can cause you to feel heavy and bloated.
-Stay hydrated by choosing water or tea over other fizzy and sugary drinks like coke or juice.
-Take supplements like Vitamin C or zinc to have a strong immune system and prevent getting germs or sick during travel.
SLEEP💤
-Bring an eye mask to sleep and to help block out any lights or distractions (also prevents straighned or dry eyes from the recycled air after the flight)
-Bring magnesium supplements with you. This helps your body relax and recover while sleeping on the plane:)
-Invest in some nice headphones to cancel out noise and listen to meditative music or pink noise(one of the biggest game changers for me)
SKINCARE✨
-Bring clean face wipes as an alternative ot washing your face and to insure clean skin
-Avoid using too much makeup so that you can reaply moisturizer
-Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!! The air in planes can be very dry and harsh on your skin so applying lots of face lotion can make you feel rejuvenated during and after a flight.
-Use a Gua Sha to de-puff before getting off your flight!
-Bring chapstick!
