This soup is so delicious!! This recipe is a family favorite, even my pickiest eater loved it. It'll keep you warm, and this is best served with crusty bread for dipping or best yet cheesy grilled cheese sandwich making this the perfect comfort food. What is not to love? Super easy to make, yummy roasted butternut squash and ready in no time, 30 minutes!
Why real lump crab?
Compared to imitation crab, real crab contains more beneficial nutrients such as vitamin B12, Omega-3 fatty acids, and zinc. Imitation crab is inexpensive and is highly process. If you were to pick protein for this soup, go with real crab.
INGREDIENTS:
•Vegetable stock
•Heavy whipping cream
•Red onion
•Lump crab meat (NOT IMITATION)
•Garlic (minced)
•Creole seasoning (if unavailable, use onion powder and garlic powder, salt and pepper).
•Mushroom seasoning
Air fry/roast 375F (15-18 min)
•Butternut squash (chopped)
•Season with salt
Toppings:
•Fresh thyme
•DF cream
•Crab meat
•Serve with bread or grilled cheese
