1. Antique stores are usually divided into booths, and each booth is priced differently. Get a sense of which booths are overpriced and stick to the others. For example, one booth had blue and white china plates for $6 a plate, while another booth had them at $12 for a set of three.

2. Many times an antique booth will have multiples of the same item in varying conditions. Decide what condition you are willing to buy and then try to find a good deal!

3. Usually antique stores do a big open house for each season: spring, fall, Christmas, and summer. If you go to the stores a couple of weeks before the big event, they usually have items on sale or clearance as they are trying to get rid of inventory!

4. Occasionally, booth owners will give you a deal on multiples or let you haggle, so don't be afraid to ask the shop owner!
