5 shows on Netflix that you should watch

These shows are some of my favorites and they’ve kept me hooked from start to finish:

- Sense8 (I would recommend it for older teenagers or adults, it’s not meant for a young audience): This has to be one of the most beautiful shows I’ve ever seen. The characters were all amazing and so loveable. The dialogues were so well-written and inspiring and the cinematography was mesmerizing. The first episode is a bit strange but once you pass it, it’s just impossible to stop watching. So much happens and we follow these eight characters who live in different countries but are all connected. It’s a story about being human and about love and friendship and it also has a lot of action.

- Anne with an E: Another beautifully written show with one of the most relatable and sweetest main characters. Anne is so easy to love and get attached to, I just enjoyed seeing her grow up and learn and make friends and enjoy life. This show made me cry a lot and I wished it had more seasons as it was one of my favorite things to watch.

- The Queen’s Gambit: This mini-series was everything. I didn’t understand much about chess but I still was hooked and I was rooting for her the whole time. I enjoyed it SO MUCH. This is definitely a must watch. The actors did a wonderful job portraying their characters and the story was so compelling.

- Queen Charlotte: This show had one of the most beautiful love stories ever with beautiful dialogues and great actors. I just loved it so much. Queen Charlotte was such an amazing character and I loved seeing her life in the past (if you’ve watched Bridgerton this is the show about the queen) and all the parallels they made with her present self. The cinematography was beautiful and it was such a nice watch.

- Inventing Anna: This mini-series is inspired by real events and even though it wasn’t perfect, it was impossible to stop watching. I needed to know what was going to happen to Anna and to hear what everyone who knew her had to say about who she was and how she acted. This show was very addictive and I really recommend it if you're looking for a show with a compelling story to binge-watch.
