How often do you personally replace your iPhone?

I’ve been using my trusty 12 for four years now. This is the longest I’ve ever gotten a phone to last. My previous iPhones lasted me about two years each.

Recently, my battery has been draining pretty fast (77% health) and my phone is heating up quickly. I looked into a battery replacement, but Apple won’t do it without fixing my cracked screen first, which is nearly $300.

I’m curious how often you usually replace your phone. I think it’s time for me do it, I’m just hesitant to make such a big purchase. (:
