SEOUL: visiting tamburins + what i got

the famed Tamburins; modelled by miss Jennie Kim and on every girls’ must-visit when in South Korea. doesn’t everyone want to be like her??

under the same brand umbrella as Gentle Monster, Tamburins has a similar vibe once you’re there. full-on pleasing aesthetics with the odd sculpture situated in the middle of it all.

in Haus Dosan’s case, the sculptures reminded me of larvae so i didn’t snap a pic 😬

my experience there was so so pleasant! the staff were really friendly and could speak english (thank god), they also didn’t push/ hover around me when i told them i was still looking. they were also able to share what were the differences between the hand creams and such, which was really helpful!

price point wise, i would say that Tamburins has a slightly higher range for sure. but definitely not CRAZY expensive. to gauge, the sanitizer was about $10 SGD? not the cheapest, but not the worst for sure~~

is it worth the visit?

for me, i would say definitely pay this place a visit! the entire building houses the brands under Gentle Monster, and the sales persons do not push you to get anything (i assume they are accustomed as it IS a tourist hotspot afterall). its worth a trip down to have a look at the space and interior! 🤩🖤
