This is one of my favorite Freida McFadden books! I also love The Housemaid series by her. Never Lie is a psychological thriller about a newlywed couple who is touring houses, when they get locked in by a blizzard while touring a house. This house was previously owned by a psychiatrist, who mysteriously disappeared 4 years earlier. As they’re searching for things to do to occupy their time while being locked in, they stumble upon a bunch of cassette tapes. These tapes are audio recordings from the psychiatrist’s sessions with her patients. As the couple listens to the recordings, more and more is revealed about the psychiatrist and her mysterious disappearance…
