5 FOOD PLACES TO TRY IN PENANG😍😍

hi guys(esp those looking to travel to penang)!!! i’ve always heard from my family/friends that penang is a food paradise and i guess it’s true because my friends & i really ate ALOOOT of good food in this trip😋😋😋 here are some of the recommendations i’ve compiled:

1.Fu Er Dai

the best dimsum we ate in penang! the service was really fast for this place because they have all the dimsum prepared at the front already so you just have to go to the counter and they will pass you whatever you want! the dimsum was so good as well….. definitely worth the hype

2.Toh Soon Cafe

we were quite surprised when we arrived at this cafe because there was an extremely long queue…but i would say the food was pretty worth the wait!!!! they are famous for their egg on toast (their toast was super crispy with a right amount of saltiness) so i’ll defo recommend anyone to try this

3.Penang Road Famous Laksa

this was honestly my personal fav?? the char kway teow was mind blowing for me because it doesn’t taste like the usual oily char kway teow that i eat in Singapore… there was a strong wokhey taste which i really liked! the laksa was quite okay but not as good as their char kway teow

4.The FOUNDERS Hutton

the vibes of this place was the best because the cafe was really aesthetic and they had a live band performing too when we were there! their beef bagels tasted SOOO good to me but i didn’t really enjoy the chicken (it was quite dry) :(( their mocktail was not bad tho! overall, i would still recommend this place as long as you order the right food

5.Chew Jetty Big Bowl Noodles 姓周桥大碗公面

i love this place so much!!!! the specialty of this restaurant was how they served their noodles in an ENORMOUS BOWL and it was so unique when we first saw it😆 their noodles were super springy and the broth was very flavourful too….. many ingredients inside the bowl as well!!!
