on top of the list.. we have this very famous store that is located in taichung! it is a teahouse that claims to have invented bubble tea in taiwan 😮 we ordered their signature bubble tea which costed us 144TWD (SGD$6.30) — super tasty and not too sweet! aside from their drinks, we ordered the spicy wontons in chilli oil (105TWD; SGD$4.62), chilli soy milk dan-dan noodles (110TWD; SGD$4.83) and the kung-fu noodles (100TWD; SGD$4.40)! everything was so damn good and i can’t wait to revisit when im back in taiwan 🥹

definitely another eatery you should visit when you’re in taipei! ichiran specializes in pork-flavored tonkotsu broth and though we had to queue for close to 2hrs, the wait was so worth it. the broth was so rich and flavorful 😍 one bowl of tonkotsu ramen costed us 288TWD which was only SGD$12!!

MY ABSOLUTE FAV EATERY IN TAIWAN.. 😭😭 if you’re a soybean lover, def pay this place a visit!! the queue might seem long but the wait was only 30 mins. their signature thick bread with donut stick is *chefs kiss* omg it is so good when paired with their soy milk 😍 their you tiao is the crispiest i’ve ever eaten. u gotta try it for urself!! 🥹 price was so affordable too — our total bill added up to ~$10 for 2 bowls of soy milk, 1 you tiao and 1 signature thick bread with donut stick 😙
