Rating my Bakes!

Throwback to one of my favorite baking creations of this past year…a lemon poppyseed bundt cake with homemade buttercream! It’s not the prettiest and the buttercream was a little salty, but I’d give it a 7/10. 🥰

The next one is my grandma’s homemade apple pie and pie crust recipe. I’d give this a solid 7/10 because my execution was a bit off. I overworked the shortcrust dough and the apple mixture was a bit too wet but still delicious!

Lastly, a from scratch key lime pie with coconut graham cracker crust! I love the way this one looks. However, my meringue did not peak well (this was my first attempt at meringue and I may have over whipped it). But the crust was perfect and overall the custard was delicious! I combined 3 different recipes to make this one so I put in a lot of effort. I’d give it a solid 9/10!
