I’ve grown up with so much fairytales and WATTPAD in my life that when I finally got into a relationship I got a rude shock of what was expectations vs reality :’) I hate how storybooks always romanticize love and that it’s supposed to be perfect and that it’s supposed to be like the movies so I’m here to debunk these myths!!

this one was me before actually dating HAHAHA it’s the typical good girl bad boy combo that you think is the perfect relationship but pls☠️☠️☠️ do you really want a guy that makes you PISSED AND WONDERING why they aren’t replying, MIAing and then the next second so in love with you ? Being hot and cold is NOT FOR ME. Real love is constant and stable & I’m not saying you shouldn’t have intense love for your partner don’t normalize being cold then hot and have these back & forths to “keep the spark alive”

If you’re like me and you’re dating to marry, conflicts are the best way to learn more about your partner. Of course I don’t mean screaming matches and fights everyday but having differing opinions and constructive fights will build your relationship and make you grow closer as a couple!

FYI this is something I learnt after many mistakes and wrong people - don’t depend on your partner to be your source of happiness! A healthy relationship is when you are both happy and fulfilled in your respective lives and being together MAKES IT BETTER! think of a perfect dish and your partner is like garnish - they elevate it but without it the dish is just as great 🍜🥗🍱
