headed to Paris and not sure how to get around? Fret not!!

Uber/Taxis are incredibly pricey so I would highly recommend taking the Metro to fully submerge in the Parisian vibes of Paris 💅🏻🫣🥐

The Paris Navigo card is a multi-use transit card that covers all of the Metro Paris area, good for the Paris Metro (subway/underground), RER trains (including the CDG Airport train, Disneyland Paris, and Versailles), buses (including Orly airport buses), trams & surburban Transilien trains.

A Navigo Week Pass is valid from Monday at 00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59.

This is super important in planning your trip - try to reach Paris at the start of the week and leave on Sunday or else you would need to buy another card (e.g. if you come on Fri-Wed). Paris transport was super afforable - the weekly pass cost you around 30 Euro (inclusive of 5 Euro for the physical card)

1. You must get the tickets from the Ticketing Billets Paris et Ile-de-France train ticket window

I got mine from Paris Est - the main station but this is super crowded but I took a direct train from Munich so I didn't have a choice :(

2. Bring a passport picture

You need to paste your picture on the card for verification, and if you don't have it you might get fined 40 Euros during their random checks! Just a black and white passport sized pic will do, it does not need to be perfect!

3. Bus goes to CDG airport

The best thing about the Navigo is that it includes the bus ride direct to the CDG airport with no stops in between! I took it from the Opera and it was quite bumpy but was a quick 45 min direct bus that was seamless :)

4. Download the RAPT app!

I think this app is even better than our own MRT apps in SG LOL it is super clear and it is like google maps but it tells you very clearly the exact metro line and how many times you need to change etc. YOU MUST download this app before you head to Paris - it was a lifesaver :)
