Tropical Smoothie Café Inspired Summer Smoothie 🍋‍🟩🍓

Ever since it started getting warmer outside, I’ve been wanting tropical smoothie cafe a lot.

Since it’s rough out there, I’ve been getting the kids smoothies with my meal because it saves some money. I’ve been obsessed with the “lil limeberry” which is just strawberries and lime.

So I made a recipe that’s inspired by my favorite smoothie craving. ⬇️

Ingredients:

-1 lime, juiced

-2/3 of a carton of strawberries

-1 banana (optional)

-Yogurt (optional)

-Whole milk (or any kind of milk you want. You could even use water if you wanted)

Really the smoothie is only strawberries and limes, but I just tweaked it a little because I wanted to use up some stuff in my kitchen, which is why I put (optional) under those ingredients.

Recipe:

1. Cut up your fruit and put them in a ziploc bag.

2. Place in freezer over night or for 12 hours

3. Place yogurt, fruit, milk, and lime juice in your blender.

4. Blend until smooth. If you are using a nutribullet or something similar, the “extract” option is best to use at first, then a normal setting.

5. All done. Enjoy 😊

If you wanted a more tropical drink you could also add pineapple juice and orange juice. That would be really good too.
