What Seoul looks like in May

The weather in May is just right for me during my short trip to Seoul. Spring was coming to an end but the summer heat was not quite there yet, making it perfect weather for a simple one-layered clothing.

These photos were taken at the Garden of Morning Calm, a highly recommended place to visit when you’re there! It was a 3-hour train ride for us though, as the cab fare to the place was wayyy too pricey.

The garden changes with the seasons, and there were tons of tulips in the period I visited. Spring and autumn were the best times to drop by and although I did not get to see the cherry blossoms in bloom, these were beautiful nonetheless.

What helped make the visit more enjoyable was that there were not many tourists (yet). For those who are still considering a trip to Korea, do book your tickets as soon as you can! 😉
