If you’re looking for a good hike…

I’ve got one for you! This is the Big Bluff Goat Trail, located in Ponca, AR.

This trail is rated as moderate in AllTrails but let me tell you…it is DIFFICULT!!! I was traveling with a big group and we were taking our time. It took us around 7 hrs to complete. However, on average, people can complete this trail in 4-5 hours. It’s 6 miles long to reach the Bug Bluff with a steep hill, narrow paths, but really amazing views.

Please be careful when hiking here especially in the bluff area, since you’re walking on a narrow trail that has a 350ft drop to the Buffalo river on one side. You may need to crawl to get through some sort of cave here as well, but the views are well worth it.

I highly recommend this hike if you are in the area! Make sure that you are well rested and have good stamina for this hike! Bring lots of water, snacks, and a whole lot of good energy :)
