Treated myself to a $27 brow wax @ Benefit 💅

I started going to Benefit to get my brows waxed ever since I started shaping them, but a session is so expensive that now, I only treat myself to one during special occasions or even convenience 🪞

Other than brow waxing, the Brow Bar also does upper lip and chin waxing, brow tinting and brow laminating. I chose the Brow Wax ($27). After signing an agreement that I wasn’t using any retinol or recently had a peel and chatting with the service staff about my needs, she got started on drawing an outline of the shape I wanted.

She kept checking in at different points that I was ok with the shape, and did a test on my wrist to check if the temperature of the wax was ok for me. Even when I changed my mind halfway through, she was very accommodating and listened to my needs ☺️

💡 Ambience

As you know, the brow waxing is done at the Benefit Brow Bar counters in various Sephora stores. It’s fairly public, and you’ll usually get people staring at you while they’re walking past. If you don’t feel with people staring at you, choose a timing where there’s lesser people in the store, or a lesser known location!

📣 Overall Experience

Tbh, I’ve always felt that Benefit Brow Bar’s brow waxing services are top-notch, and I barely feel any pain when my brows are being waxed. But for $27, I feel like I could’ve gone to a proper studio with a private room or at the very least a privacy curtain. But as I mentioned, it’s still a treat for me because waxing produces smooth and hairless skin and the wax is practically pain-free 😌
