I’ve been a full timer at Shopee for 4 years (my 5th year this year) & have always maintained a consistent workout schedule while having to WFO 5-days a week.

My work is demanding af & it requires me to be flexible to make things work. (E.g if I need to track my campaign till 2am, I don’t workout the next morning). ✋

Let me just say, it ain’t easy 😭 I target 3 weekdays + 1 weekend to hit the gym & struggle to wake up at 650am on weekdays to meet my goals. 🥵

It defo takes strong purpose to keep going but tbh aft awhile, it just becomes a part of who you are if you remain consistent. I can safely say it’s just a normal part of my life/ schedule now.

Here are some tips on how I integrated going to the gym with my 5 day WFO schedule.

1. 📝 Set realistic goals: Mine’s 3x weekday 1x weekend. Decide if you’re gna workout in the morning or at night. I like to stick to 1 timing, it just makes planning my life easier 😁

2. 📲Download a gym app: I use EvolveYou & I swear to you, it’s the best workout buddy ive ever had. 😎 You can move around your workouts, follow the trainer exactly. There are full gym programmes, smaller workouts, timed workouts, nutrition help. Everything you ever need for $99 USD a year. WAY cheaper than an IRL trainer but it gets the job done.

3. 🏋🏽‍♀️ Remain consistent: you have to rely on your schedule & NOT your emotions. When you’re tired before work, emotions will tell u to go back to sleep. 😴 Your schedule will say GET UP! Having said that, know when your body is talking to you & telling you to take a break.

4. 🏅Maintain your expectations: progress is not liner. Don’t expect to see drastic changes aft a short period of time. It took me 1-2 years on evolve you to see my body rly change. Keep consistent & keep going! 😈

5. 👥 Follow fitness trainers with healthy teachings: Krissy Cela is the founder of evolve you. She’s super real & has a holistic take on fitness vs a lot of the fast & easy get skinny influencers. Be careful who you follow!!! The right influences in your life can make all the difference ✨
