Pitbulls are NOT Dangerous (read below) 👇

Despite what some may say, Pitbulls are NOT Dangerous, well, not all, but this can be said about all dog breeds. All breeds attack occasionally, from Huskies to Dobermans. So, where does the stigma come from?

1- PEOPLE BELIEVE THEY ARE SCARY

Many people believe they are scary due to their large muscles, sharp teeth and often sharp ears, however, other dogs also have similar traits and are not treated this way.

2- PITBULLS ARE OFTEN OWNED BY MINORITIES OR THOSE WHO LIVE IN POOR NEIGHBORHOODS

If you drive through the “bad neighborhood”, especially in the Deep South, you are very likely to see/hear Pitbulls and other bully breeds. This is because many unethical breeders sell these dogs for very cheap. (Of course, it is not the fault of the dog owners as they most likely do not know.)

3- THE INFAMOUS CHOKE CHAIN

In movies, Pitbulls are often seen wearing chains, which are seen as a sign of danger, or is seen as a sign of being a “gangster” by those who wear them.

In conclusion, do not assume that a dog is dangerous based off of breed, and be more open minded towards bully breeds. They deserve all the love they can get.
